Monday Night Raw Review. 26.3.2026
Written By Patrick O'malley.
My Apologies.
This is starting to become a running joke at this. I've had to cancel working on this past weekends Friday Night Smackdown, and UFC Apex cards, this is due to my day Job needing me, and then you throw in the fact that I wasn't feeling very well. I still have plans to cover AEW Revolution, that review has been held back until tomorrow due to this fact. I'm feeling a lot better now so normal 5 pieces a week should come back from Tomorrow. You guys know that I hate cancelling things, and making decisions like this doesn't sit very well with me, but due to the fact that I was left feeling rundown. and unwell I had no other choice but to listen to my body and rest. So all that's left is to say is this. I'm so back people.
Superstars Seen Turning Up To Work.
Mr And Mrs Punk. Maxxine Dupri. The Judgement Day, and. Stephanie Vaquer, were all seen showing up to work.
Seth Rollins Segment.
Seth Rollins and his band of Black hoodie wearing Puddies came out to start off the show. He said that he's the one who started The Vision, and he's the one who's going to take them out, by destroying them, and marking there cards for death. Paul Heyman then came out, and this was when the promo segment shifted gears. He walked out looking dischevelled, and void of any emotion, and he sold this perfectly. He said that he f***** with Seth, because he liked f****** with him, and that's when he gave way for ( Sigh ) Brock Lesnar. Seth instantly instructed his Puddies to attack, but Brock took all of them out, and that's when the lights went out, and out came my saving grace. Oba Femi, who then dominated Brock. This segment was decent, but what brought me down was Brock Lesnar in 2026. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that Oba has a big time WrestleMania Match, I just don't think that it should be with a man who was mentioned 40+ times in a sex trafficking lawsuit. This segment was good, but at the same time, it was morally bankrupt, and this is a message that i'm not going to stop screaming about.
Original Elgrande Americano vs Elgrande Americano.
I've got to admit it. I had fun watching this, even this storyline has been run into the ground. Elgrande, beat umm, Elgrande in what was a fun TV outing.
The Bloodline Reunited.
Roman Reigns showed up to the venue, and was met by his cousins Peabob, and. Rocksteady, I mean Jimmy, and. Jey. Roman cut a direct to camera promo taking aim at Cm Punk. This would be a episode long storythread.
Danhausen Segment.
This segment had me shouting were's Arn Anderson when you need him, because Danhausen had a gun, oh wait everyone it's just a t shirt gun, filled with cursed t shirts. I thought that this was very nice, but very evil. Watch out Grayson Waller. Kofi leave Jevon alone.
Liv Morgan Segment.
This segment had me embracing my inner Vampire Willow from Buffy The Vampire. Bored now. I'm starting to lose all interest in Liv's character at the minute because it hasn't developed at all since last year. Hearing her act gleeful about kicking Finn out of The Judgement Day was painful.
AJ Lee vs Bayley. WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship.
I liked this. I went back and watched the time when these two faced each other on NXT from back in 2013, and you can clearly tell that HHH was in the mood to play with toys, because that Match worked then, and suprise suprise so did this one. Both women have awesome chemistry, and you could tell that this was a way to get AJ ready for Mania, and as the Match went into last exchanges you could see this pairs trust come out. AJ retained and was attacked by her future Mania opponent Becky Lynch.
Penta vs ? WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Penta's opponent was Dragon Lee, and oh my this Match banged. I loved how both men brought this Match into life with Mexican flare, and desire, you could tell that there was no plan for this Match, so who produced just said, i'm going to take the wheels off, and let you guys rip the house down. Penta retained. This was great.
Maxxine Dupri vs Nattie.
Ok Patrick be nice. Nattie got the win. WWE please move on from this, because this just isn't working.
Randy Orton Interview.
I liked this. The whole segment was a solid way to follow up Friday Night Smackdowns segment of the year. Who was Randy on the phone to. He said that Wrestling has more than one Royal family. I mean he's not lying.
Stephanie Vaquer vs Raquel Rodriguez.
I liked this, but I didn't love it, the first stages felt like these two were going through the motions, whilst the second part, reminded me of an aging rockband playing their greatest hits, because I felt like i've seen this before, this Match also laid bare one of my pet peeves in Pro Wrestling. I hate it when the outcome to a Match is so painsakingly obvious. It's clear to me that Vaquer is dropping the belt to Liv at Mania, and just like that the womens Championship gets even more tiresome, because Stephanie Vaquer, who i'm a big fan of needs to be booked better. Because her run as WWE Womens champion, has been sub par at best.
Roman Reigns And Cm Punk Segment.
This was a 22 minute run through of a segment that struggled at the beginning. Now don't get me wrong I loved the segment because it worked as both men took the fans on a trip down backwards psychology avenue, as their verbal back and forth felt just as fluid. Punk is in Romans head, and it's making for great TV, but they needed to get to the fireworks factory a bit quicker.
Overview of Monday Night Raw.
As Mania looms ever closer the booking is starting to look a more clear, and that feeling of it'll be alright on the night is starting to look mighty fine in my opinion. Moral Bankruptcy aside this was a solid show with good to great in ring work, and solid promos.
This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.
