CMLL World Trios Championship The Don Callis Family vs El Sky.

This Match bled over from  the Tail;gate Brawl, and it was magnificent. Even though I didn't catch this from the start. I had to go back and give this a go from the start. Both teams had great chemistry as the layered physicality became the backbone for the rest of the evening. El Sky got the win, and. Don Callis has got his work cut out for him.

Darby Allin vs Pac.

From Darby's Horror burns intro, that reminded me of the fact that Darby is AEW's answer to Jason Vorhees, because he can't be killed. This Match was loosely based on his encounter with MJF, in the fact that it was shaped like a standard  wrestling Match. Darby took some serious back bumps, that made me wince, alongside the moments when Pac attacked Darby's burns. It was clear to me that Pac had taken influence from of my favourite bands, he cannot kill what he did not create, except if he cheated that is. Pac gave Darby a shot with his dads bat for the win. I liked this, because it did the job, to set up what was going to happen later on in the evening.

Womens Tag Team Tournament 4 Way Stipulation Chooser.

The Timeless Lovebombs, beat. Marina Shafir, and Megan Bayne. The Babes Of Wrath, and. The Sisters Of Sin, in what was a flat TV Match, that happened to take place on a PPV. I couldn't connect with this Match.

Brodido vs FTR.

I liked this. Overall it was a lowfi burner that turned into a gratifying experience that went through the motions, but once the final stages got into gear, this brought home the fact that the chemistry took a while to get moving. The near falls were placed into the story of the Match with ease, as the Match crocshendo gave FTR the chance to Hit Brodido with a Shatter Machine for the win. FTR are heel Champions, and i've got admit, that I like this development.

AEW National Championship Casino Gauntlet Match.

I couldn't connect with this Match. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good Gauntlet Match, when done right, but this one just didn't hit for me. Ricochet got the win, and I think that this was the right move, he's now the first ever AEW National Championship.

Jon Moxley vs Kyle O'reilly No Holds Barred.

This was a slow cathartic look at how to create a blood stained masterpiece, that was a nasty, viscerile, violent, mayhemic ride. My favourite thing about AEW at the moment is Jon's Moxleys slow demise from The Deathriders, and this was a perfect aid to help push this storyline along nicely. Kyle beat Jon, and i'm very excited to see where this goes next.

Mark Briscoe vs Kyle Fletcher TNT Championship.

I had two Matches of the Night, and this was one of them. Both men had fantastic chemistry, and this acted as a breath of fresh air. The Matches hardcore spots made sense, and took me back to 2010 CZW. The mental game of chess that played out here was awesome, as the painful reminder of lost family played out. Mark got the win as the final stages echoed from pure insanity. On a serious note. Marks Brother who sadly lost his life in a car accident in January 2023, was looking down on him smiling. Well done to one of dem boys.

$1.000.000 Dollar Trios Match The Young Bucks And Josh Alexander vs Jurassic Express And Kenny Omega.

This was another Match of the night for me. I might be one in a majority here, but I felt that there was moments of the old Kenny Omega coming back into focus. This became the slow build of story of the Match. The solid layered focus on the Matches within the Match. The intricicies that all six men showcased here, should be studied in Pro Wrestling schools, these unfolded over time, as the fantastic final exchanges allowed The Bucks to get rich again with the win. Don Callis then asked The Bucks to join his family. As he led them away up the ramp, his family took to attacking Kenny. Luchasaurus, and. Jack Perry. The Bucks looked on and left Don, as they went to help their friends, and former friend. They helped lay waste to the TDCWO, and put out the hand for Kenny, he slapped them away, and then hugged them. Carry on My wayward heart. I get why some fans might not like this, but i think that this was the right booking move.

Kris Statlander vs Mercedes Mone AEW Womens Championship.

I started to notice that during the Match, the fans sounded tired, due a lack of response, but this has been disputed, as fans online have said that the fans in attendence were loud all night. I think this was a miking issue, and I could tell when watching the show last night, when I got home from my day job. Both ladies had a stellar Match that was poorly potioned poorly on the card. Both ladies gave everything in order to create art, in the scientific form of a Pro Wrestling Match. I didn't think that the result was in doubt, but it do what it said on the tin, further a reign, whilst signalling Mercedes downfall. Statlander Retained.

Hangman Adam Page vs Samoa Joe Steelcage Match AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

I don't know where to start with this. I get why this Match has left fans feeling divided, So here's my thoughts. The thought of the Cage Match idea was pointless from the moment it was announced, because AEW were going to run 3 of them within days of one another. My second thought. The layering of the Physicality was underdone with the shenanigans. My third thought. On two positive notes. I think that now has to be the time to put get the belt away from Hangman is a good idea. He's faced all he's needed to face, and this has clearly led to troubling booking decisions, whilst the idea of Heel Samoa Joe as Champion is very exciting, with the added return of Swerve Strickland.

Overview Of AEW Full Gear 2025.

Overall this PPV did deliver, even with it's divided finish. The Matches maintained the standard of what they achieved this year, and the echoing after effect in storytelling has left me feeling excited.

AEW Full Gear 2025 is a high 8/10.
