 AEW Dynamite Review 6.11.2025.

Tony Schiavone Segment.

I liked this. AEW kicked off Dynamite following last weeks brilliant ending angle. Tony Schiavone was telling us about the new National Championship, that was until The Opps circled the ring. Samoa Joe cut a scaving promo on Tony, whilst stating that he doesn't care if Tony knew anything about what happened last week. This was fascinating to watch, as the dynamic of good vs evil was played out. Hangman made the save, as his friends Eddie Kingston, and Hook kelped him. Hook took to the mic, and then challenged them tp put their trios belts on the line. Tony Khan then confirmed this for the main event.

Orange Cassidy vs Claudio Castagnoli Blood And Guts Advantage Match.

I liked this. The Match was an excellent balance of two styles coming together, and a complete booking master stroke of TV Match. Claudio got the win, in what was a great opener.

Don Callis Is On The Hunt.

Mark Briscoe challenged Kyle Fletcher to put his TNT Championship on the line, at Full Gear. This gave Damn It Don Callis the idea that if Mark loses, then he'll have to leave The Conglomeration. Don then continued to try and entice The Young Bucks, which left Jurassic Express to leave them some money. Both teams will face each other at Full Gear in a 1m Dollar Trios Match with Kenny Omega, and. Josh Alexander. I can't wait to see this.

Womens Tag Team Tournament Match 1st Round.

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, beat. Mercedes Mone and Athena, in what was a suprising fun paced TV Match. I liked this.

National Championship Competitors Announcement.

Tony Schiavone then told us that at Full Gear, there will be a Casino Gauntlet Match to crown the first National Championship, and the first two competitors will be Bobby Lashley, and. Shelton Benjamin. I didn't like this. It was another run of the mill TV promo, that was designed to keep the feud between The Demand, and The Hurt Syndicate going, as MVP and Ricochet laid in verbal barbs towards one another. This wasn't for me.

Darby Allin vs Daniel Garcia Blood And Guts Advantage Match.

This was my Match of the night, by a long mile. From Darby using Daniel as a human pepperami, and chomping on his arm. Darby got necktied, and then had a meeting with the steel steps. Both men managed to elevate the physicality from minor plunder, and Darby selling his desperation was the main plot of the story of the Match, and it was great. Daniel tried to humiliate Darby, by using the scorpion deathlock, but this back fired as Darby got the win with his dads move. Oh and hello Pac. The Conglomeration, and. The Deathriders then had a mass brawl to take this rivalry to Saturday's Collision.

FTR Segment.

This was the segment of the night. I loved this. Cash Wheeler called out Brodido, only to find that they're trapped in their changing room. Dax noticed that Bandido's family was sat at ringside, and then proceeded to insult his Gran, this made me think. I know what would happen if this was my mum, she would deck Dax, no questions asked, she would batter him. Gravity took the fight to the pair, but before that Brodido escaped thanks to Borody smashing his fist through a paper wall. Even though he did put his hands on a glorious man, the only thing that was missing was the words. Here's Brody. Brodido then attacked FTR to end the segment. I loved this. I get why some people might look at this as bad creative, but I laughed my arse watching this.

Mina Shirakowa vs Megan Bayne Blood And Guts Advantage Match.

I didn't like this. It was over far to quick, and very predictable. However Timeless Toni Storm on commentary was hilarious. Hemp aftershave, and references to orgies. don't ever change Toni. Megan got the win, and then all the ladies involved in the womens Blood And Guts Match then had a brawl. Can you say Predictable. Oh and hello Marina Shafir.

The Opps vs Hangman Adam Page Hook And Eddie Kingston AEW Trios Championships.

I liked this. The Match was contested with solid physicality, and great Matches within the Match. The final exchanges were very telling into how this Match would play out. Hangman and Hobbs had a fight on the ramp, that ended with our Heavyweight Champion getting taken off the stage. Hobbs then dispatched of Hook with a back breaker to retain The Opps Trios Belts. As the Match ended I felt a sense of pleasure, because i'm so pleased to see Eddie Kingston back in the ring. Long live The Mad King.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

This was a better return from last weeks show. I understand somethings on this broadcast might not be for everyone, but wrestling should be in the eye of the fan. So if you enjoyed this show, then that's all that matters.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

Top 5 Lists Of Pro Wrestlers With Failed Careers.

Warning.

This article contains references to sexual misconduct, and assault. Reader Discretion is advised.

5. Jimmy Havoc.

I have to be very careful when I put this to screen, for legal reasons. Jimmy Havoc was a stand out name on the UK indie circuit from the years of 2004-2018, and would then head out to the states working for ROH, and. AEW, but in June of 2020 Jimmy was suspended after multiple accusations surrounding the speaking out allegations, that were levied against him. He would receive counselling due to his drug issues, and mental health problems. He was let go by AEW in August of that year.

4. Lars Sullivan.

When Lars Sullivan debuted in WWE on the 17th of April 2017 in NXT, there was a lot promise surrounding his arrival. His main Roster run was heavily plaqued with issues, from his mental health, all the way to his departure in 2021 which came around due to his controversial past, mainly to do with his connections to the adult entertainment world, and unfotgivable historic posts to social media.

3. Jack Gallagher.

This is another individual that was accused of acts of sexual misconduct. I've heard many things about Jack, from some people that used to know him. And from those that worked with him on the indipendent scene, and if i'm being honest, his excuses for why he was released just says everything. The drink is no excuse. He was let go by WWE in June of 2020, whilst being brought up in speaking out movement.

2. Marty Jannetty.

If I could describe Marty Jannetty in one sentence I would say this. He's Mickey Rourke's Character in The Wrestler made real. From being let go by the WWE on multiple occassions, to going down the rabbit hole of drug addiction, he has ruined his career, and it's sad because, he's a story of what could've been.

1. Michael Elgin.

This stunned me, because I was a fan of him in his ROH days. He was another person who got brought up in the speaking out movement. From not taking allegations seriously, to accounts of harressment, this would nearly blacklist Elgin, he still wrestles to this day, but his career has taken a very serious downfall.

The Top 5 Times The BBFC Pissed Of A British Pro Wrestling Fan.

Intro.

Who here likes the idea of censorship, well not me that's for sure. I get why these authority groups exist, I just feel that sometimes they get things wrong. So this is the top 5 times when UK Film censors The BBFC pissed of one UK Pro Wrestling fan, me.

5. Fully Loaded 2000.

The reason this was given a 15 back in the year 2000 was met with a fair bit of understanding, but future releases relating to streaming services, and the tagged classics series that Silver Vision re-released from the years 2006-2012, some titles were sent back in for reclassification, and Fully Loaded 2000 was a casulty of this development. This angered me at the time, because I didn't understand the ruling surrounding explicit sexual content on media, but as I sit here on a Monday moring researching this list. I do get it know, because this played into how Pro Wrestling was perceived at the time.

4. ECW Living Dangerously 2000.

If I recall, this was heavily edited by the BBFC due to it's high level of excessive violence, it was rumoured that this show was banned, but these claims were highly exaggerated at the time by Powerlsam Magazine here in the UK. If I recall that is. I wanted to buy this back in the day, but my mum had other ideas.

3. WrestleMania 16.

I have fond memories of watching this PPV at my friends house, and I was excited for it's up and coming VHS release in the year 2000, and then it came out. I was stunned to see an 18 certificate slapped all over the cover. I believe this was due to highly over sexualised content, which nowadays is considered to be laughable, but under the BBFC rules back then this was a huge no no. The overall violence of the show would get a 15 at best, but at the time there was substantial worry surrounding how Women were treated on TV, and all media at the time, so I feel that this played into the decision. My mum bought me the video as a treat, and even she thought that this was a 15 at best. I was lucky, because I was able to get a copy, whilst my friends, well that's a different story.

2. WCW Uncensored 1999.

My Mum and Dad back when I was growing up, at one point were quite PC when it came to what I watched on TV. A great example of this was WCW Uncensored 1999. When I was researching this video I found out that Warner Bros, who distributed WCW videos in the UK, and. America showcased this to the BBFC in late July of 1999, and they were told that if they want a 15 certificate, then 17 seconds of footage would have to be removed. I'm not sure were the cuts were made, but this angered me, even with the 17 seconds intact, it wouldn't have changed the tone of the show, so this was a bit pointless. I must point out that this allegded.

1. WWE Royal Rumble 2000.

This has now been reclassified for the Netflix release to a 15 certificate, back in the year 2000 this titled carried an 18 certificate, due to sexulaised content, which by todays standards is laughable, even though the thought of Mae Young getting out her waps for the pervs in attendence would put a lot of kids in therapy today. This caused outrage in the O'malley household. My mum banned me from buying the video release. I get this now, due to the how the BBFC handled things at the time. But even still to this day, even on Netflix, this should be an 18.

Monday Night Raw Review 4.11.2025.

Cm Punk Segment.

This was the right way to start off the show. Punk was given the walk through treatment, and at this moment I could feel parts of the internet start to burn, with many fans thinking the words. Are you watching Tony Khan. I loved this part of the segment. Punk basked in the love of the fans, as he cut to the chase. He thanked his wife AJ Lee. The legend that is Larry the dog, Jey Uso, and most importantly the fans. What came next had me howling with laughter. Punk said that if Seth comes back and gets in his business, he would put him back on the shelf, and then he proceeded to swing about the belt, and saying that he will be a fighting champion, que Logan Paul, who made Punk become that Steve Carrell meme, as he could be heard saying. NO NO NO NO NO NO. Logan did his job of insulting the fans, and creating a hot white bed of heat. This segment then went downhill when Paul Heyman came out, and his verbalage, and Bron Breakkers verbalage were both looked with awkward eyes with me. The fight that ended this segment was predictable, and it was a shame, because this had promise.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

The Kabuki Warrioirs, and. AJ Styles, and. Dragon Lee, were seen showing up to work.

Stephanie Vaquer And Nikki Bella vs Roxanne Perez And Raquel Rodriguez.

This was a bit flat, and as fan of all of these ladies, a real shame. Roxy got the win with her pop rocks finisher.

Penta vs El Grande Americano.

I didn't like this. I thought this was another flat TV Match, that offered up absolutely nothing. Penta got the win, thanks to a whole load of shenanigans.

Kabuki Warriors Vingnette.

Be still my Kabuki loving heart, because I love those two as heels. I'm loving Heel Kabuki Warriors.

Dirty Dom Segment.

This was the highlight of the night. Dirty Dom getting cut off by his own dad. This was no notes perfect. That's all I have to say. I loved this

Becky Lynch Hijacks The Show.

This came in a close second for highlight of the night. Becky took over the show with fire. She took jibes at Maxine Dupri, whilst insulting the fans. I think you could say that she was breaking mad during this segment. I loved this.

Bayley And Lyra Valkyria vs The Kabuki Warriors.

I liked this. Was this a blow away stallwart? No it wasn't, but it did the job that it needed to do. The chemistry from all four ladies was on par, and this made for an enjoyable watch. The Kabuki Warriors got the win, after Asuka submitted Lyra. Alexa and Charlotte got their revenge for last week.

AJ Styles And Dragon Lee vs JD Mcdonagh And Finn Balor WWE Tag Team Titles.

This was excellent, and on par with their fantastic Match from two weeks ago. From shenanigans caused by the dirty one, to both teams looking like they were having fun, as the physicality ramped up. AJ And Dragon got the win, oh and hello Sheamus.

Jey Uso Segment.

Am I the only person who thinks that Jey Uso isn't feeling  very Ucy, because he doesn't care about the Tribal Chief, oh i'm getting flashbacks.

John Cena Tournament Opening Matches Announcement.

This is not how I would've done things. I would make this just like the FA Cup draw. Adam Pearce could announce the home teams, and Nick Aldis the away teams. WWE missed a trick on this occaission.

Jey Uso And Cm Punk vs The Brons.

This was a colossal waste of time. The Match was thrown out, as a result of a double count out, and this was a real let down. But it was the aftermath that got the internet talking, as the beat down on Jey Uso was continuing, Logan Paul came out, and after he saved Punk, he turned on him, with a brass knuckle salute, he then handed the knucks to Paul Heyman as the show went off the air. Many fans looked at this, with the eyes of Logan joining The Vision, but I don't think that's the case. I think this is the build to ( insert William Regal Voice ) Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargaaaaaaaaaames.

Overview of Monday Night Raw.

This wasn't a perfect broadcast, not by a long shot, but it functioned better than what it has done in recent weeks. The Matches remained in the range from poor to good, as the promo segments stole the show.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.

My Top 5 WCW Wrestlers Were Are They Now Pt1.

Intro.

Agh yes. WCW. Back in the early 90's, to the early 2000's, this company was at the time, the gift that kept on giving, but what happened to the men and women that made the company so special. Well sit back, make yourself a snack, and I will tell you were some of these stars are today.

5. Glacier.

Ok, if you guys are an avid viewer of the Wrestling Bios Reliving The War series on YouTube, then i'm sure that you guys are all very excited to see this guy arrive. ( again ) But after retirement from Pro Wrestling he became an actor with multiple titles to his name, he's also worked as an industry insider at Full Sail University. He still takes indi bookings for appearances, and now works as a backstage agent for AEW.

4. Shannon Moore.

I think this is genuinely a nice thing. Shannon is currently living in Tampa Florida, and he works as a client relations manager, helping those that have addiction issues. Moore has had his fair share of issues when it comes to addiction, so hearing how he's devoted himself to helping others, is genuinely something special. shannon is still active to this day, returning to the ring at ROH TV tapings last month.

3. Earnest The Cat Miller.

At the time of writing. Earnest's location was unknown, but he's still active in the business, as a fan favourite on the convention circuit. Even though in the company's later days. I had fun watching his character, as it acted like an escape from my to day grind of school.

2. Vampiro.

Vampiro is involved in many different ventures since retiring from Pro Wrestling, he currently works for Lucha Underground, and leads the Mexico City chapter of the citizen crime patrol, and also works on a scripted podcast. I wasn't the biggest Vampiro fan growing, because Sting was my guy, and by all accounts they didn't get along.

1. Mike Sanders.

Mike now works as a standard Comic. After WCW folded in March of 2001, he had a minor career on the indi circuit. I like this. Mike wasn't a comedy character in WCW, so hearing this is a suprise, but it's a nice reminder that there's life after the ring.

My Top Insights From WWE SNME.

Intro.

As I sit here on a cold Sunday Afternoon writing this pieece. I have to say that this is one of the best SNME's that WWE have managed to manifest, since it's reboot, as a 5 times a year TV special, that came into existance last December. It's no secret that I haven't been a big fan of these broadcasts in recent months, but this one was an enjoyable watch.

5. No Annoying Youtube Ads.

This entire broadcast if you were watching on catch up here in the UK, there was with no YouTube Ads, and this made the broadcast an easy breazy experience. This tells me that WWE have done something decent and listened to their audience, whilst dealing with the fall back, of not being on NBC stateside.

4. Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill was a letdown.

As a fan of both Ladies involved, this pained me, because I didn't like this, and it's a shame, because this wasn't their fault. I lay this at the hands of the booking, and the lacksy daisy approach to this Match. Jade got the win, and i'm pleased for her, because as someone who has followed her since her days in AEW, this is truly awesome to see. I hope the booking matches, up to how far I think she has come along.

3. Cody Rhodes vs Drew Mcintyre WWE Undisputed Championship.

This was a good piece of business. Even though the result was never in doubt. I did enjoy it, because two of my favourite modern day competitors were going to face each other. From Drew calling back to the days of Cody's dad, the physicality being heavily layered, and the announcer table, and belt being well placed, and adding to the proceedings. Cody retained, and I had a blast watching this.

2. John Cena's Final Match Tournament Announced.

Even though I hated the video package that came with this. I do like the idea of a tournament to decide who retires big time John, but there is a worrying atribute to this as well. If Cena wins this could bring those old stories of John burying talent, that you would here in the early 2010's back. I think WWE need to play on the side of caution, and not get to carried away with this. John said that his last opponent would be earnt, and chosen, which leaves me to say this. Ha, yeah right.

1. Cm Punk Is The New World Heavyweight Champion.

As we went into this Match. I heard multiple sources that work within this area of the media, and they were all predicting a non finish, so not only did WWE leave with cream all over there faces, but the outcome of this Match was a reminder, that WWE can make the right choice. This was a sensible piece of booking, and one that I feel was made to appease sections of the fanbase. Jey Uso has come under critisism over the past month for his booking, which isn't his fault, and all I have to say is this. Even though Cm Punk is my favourite WWE Wrestler. I think that Jey will be fine, because this to me says that WWE are heading down the Solo heel turn, which to me sounds fascinating, because i'm another yeetaholic.

Top 5 Times WWE Pissed Off It's Own Fanbase.

Intro.

Fanbases are a funny thing, because everyone has an opinion, from the toxic side of Taylor Swifts Swifties, to the evergrowing demand for content. This can annoy anyone fanbase, alongside varying quality of the product that you're consuming. WWE is no differant to this state of affairs, because this has been going on for as long as I can remember.

5. The Right To Censor.

The Summer of the year 2000 was a stark reminder for the then WWF, that they had to listen to what their audience was telling, this was evident with the Right To Censor faction. This was a direct dig at multiple parent orginisations, who were trying to tell the head of creative He Who Shall Not Be Named, to clean up his act. With these controls being done on a state to state measurement. This annoyed fans, they ruined Matches, and this allowed the whole situation to become an annoyance, and not a parody that was lost on fans.

4. Eat Your Food.

If you were a fan of the WWE in 2015, the there's a chance that you remember how the company acted like ignorant pigs, when it came to listening to it's fanbase. From force feeding fans the idea of liking Roman Reigns, to reducing Daniel Bryans role, to the incontinental Championship. This felt like a slap in the face to the fans that had stuck with the product.

3. HHH's Reign Of Terror.

I do feel that this is a double edged sword. On one hand this caused a lot of division within the fanbase. To me, this time period left me feeling a whole mixture of emotions. The first one was anger, because there was quite a lot of talent that got buried in this period, and the storylines ranging from the compelling, to weird, to outright offensive, this led some fans to not want to watch the product, so those fans turned off. Even this time period leaves me with two thoughts. If you were a hardcorist, then this wasn't for you, but if you were a fan like me, then the WWE was doing it's job, because they created a toxic heel, that I used to love see get his arse kicked. With that said. I do understand why some fans didn't like it.

2. Cm Punk Quits.

With Punk now being back in the company since late November 2023. You could make the argument that things have been going okay for the voice of the voiceless. This couldn't be said back in 2013. From having to work injured, and lingering tension from within the company, this all paved way for what came the night after the 2014 Royal Rumble. Because right before Monday Night Raw went to live. Punk had walked up to He Who Shall Not Be Named, and quit outright. This had been building for some time, and it goes to show. If tension is allowed to build, then the outcome could be catastrophic.

1. TKO Merger.

This is going to sound a bit hypocritical coming from me, because I've just purchased a ticket to WWE Friday Night Smackdown on the 16th of January next year on presale, and I had to spend £160 pounds on this little treat, But just because I was lucky enough to get a ticket, others might not be as fortunate. I saw a report last week that said, that when the TKO merger was finalised in September of 2023, how the ticket prices have gone away from the hands of the fans, and I get that business is business, at this point. The last time I bought a ringside for a WWE show was back in 2021, and it cost £85 pounds and this go around in January, I nearly ended up forking out £340, so you can see the aspect of were i'm coming from. Their are many fans who can't afford these prices, and it's going to get worse as time goes on. I just want what is fair for all fans.

The Top 5 Times The UFC Counteracted Their Own Rules.

Intro.

Rules are meant to be stuck to, and not broken. Someone tell that to the worlds leading fight orginisation. From failed drug tests causing a PPV to get moved, and fighters actions proving to not be fireable. These are a selection of the times when the UFC Counteracted their own rules.

5. Media Rules.

On the eve of UFC 207. Amanda Nunes was due to defend her UFC Womens Bantamweight Championship against a returning a Ronda Rousey, however only Amanda did the press rounds for this PPV, this is due to the fact that Dana gave Ronda time off. This had many fans including myself feeling baffled, because if you take a look at fighter contracts, it's in print that they've got to do the media rounds. So this was a clear counteract.

4. Michael Bisping Spits On A Fellow Fighters Coach.

Take your mind back to 2011, and UFC 127, the event took place in Perth Australia, and. Michael Bisping was facing Jorge Rivera. The build was highly contentious, as both men made personal jibes at one another, this continued into their fight, as Bisping could be heard goding Jorge. Bisping got the win, and then went and started shouting at Jorge's cornermen, leading to him spitting on one of his coaches. Bisping apologised for his behaviour in the build up, but not for his post fight actions. This pissed off Dana White, who then later on did punish the mothy brit. Paul Daaley got releaesd for attacking Josh Koscheck in the aftermath. Can you say double standards.

3. PPV Gets Moved.

Fans angered a lot of fans. The UFC moved 232 due to the fact that the Nevada Athletic State Commission couldn't investigate Jon Jones failed drug test. This raised the question over accountability.

2. Khalib Should Have Been Fired.

If take a look at 229, and it's aftermath, just undermined the UFC's clear aim at wanting to break it's own rules. In my opinion Khalib should have been fired.

1. Fights Made On The Fly.

Making fights on the night, is a contentious thing in the world of the fight game, but when fighters get fights due to being inactive for over a year is just baffling. Ronda vs Amanda, and Leon vs Colby, are both good examples of this.

AEW Dynamite Fright Night Review 30.10.2025.

Trick Or Treat Tornado Tag Team Match Orange Cassidy And Darby Allin vs Wheeler Yuta And Daniel Garcia.

I liked this. From both teams fighting in the fans, Darby Allin proving once again that he has no back, after taking a coffin drop from the barrier divide. Yuta taking a sick looking table spot. This Match had an unsung hero, and it was Daniel Garcia. Of late I have been reaelly enjoying his work, and it shows just how far he has back into my rotation. He made Darby Allin tempt fate with his skateboard, and this helped blend into the finish, as Yuta was put into the Scorpion Deathlock by Darby for the win. This would lead to a big announcement later on. This was a great opener.

Hook Shows Up.

Hook was seen showing to work wearing a D12 t shirt, and this made me think, oh my tonight is Devils Night isn't it. 2001 what a year for music, first this, and then Slipknot's Iowa. 14 year old me loved this shirt.

The Young Bucks vs FTR vs Jetspeed vs Jurassic Express.

I loved this. The Match was performed at a franetic pace, which is a nice form for a TV Match. The Young Bucks got a special entrance from Don Callis, because he's fed up with how the company are treating them, and we were treated to Cash Wheeler insulting Papa H, and. Jurassic Express, and a glorious man was on Commentary. The Match was a high octane speed fest, that delivered alongside the physicality, and all four teams chemistry. This was the Match of the night. Oh and hello Marshmellow man. FTR got the win.

The Don Callis World Order Summit.

I loved this segment. This was a lazor focused piece of creative. From Don Callis. Rocky Romero. Josh Alexander, and. Kyle Fletcher, all being good talking heads, to the unveiling of Don's new Painting. This whole segment was aimed at the non appearance of Konosuke Takeshita, and the fragmenting relationship between him and Kazuchika Okada, travel issues was the excuse, but he turned up, and  Don told him and Okada, to sort their issues out. Konosuke was willing to shake Okada's hand, but this wasn't recipucated on Okada's end, so Don told to sort it out, because on Collision they will be in a Tag Match together. This was excellent, and that painting of the group looked hideous. This Storyline has found its legs again.

Olympia Is All Elite.

This would be awesome, even as a one off. I have done a lot of reading on Olympia over the past few years, and this would be a great signing. Her Match on Collision should be great. Statlander then challenged Mercedes to come and find her tonight. The pair had a fight later on in the broadcast.

Jon Moxley vs Kyle O'reilly.

I have to say it. I love The Conglomerations entrance theme. It's like the perfect mixture between Melrose Place, and. Beverly Hills 90210. This Match was decent, but it had a bad finish. Both men were counted out, as Kyle had Mox in Guilitine choke on the outside of the ring, but what came next was concerning. The rest of The Deathriders came out, and beat down Kyle, causing his Conglomeration friends to come out, with Darby Allin. Darby promised more punishment, whilst Mark Briscoe got Orange Cassidy to challenge The Deathriders to a mens Blood And Guts Match. I wasn't a fan of this. Let me explain. You've got two concept Matches on the same card, and this means that one of them will suffer under the plunder, because this might be two much for some fans.

Bandido Is A Fanmily Man.

This was really nice, and it made me think. What if I was a Pro Wrestler, and if I took my mum to a show, she would chant the words. Slap the taste out his mouth.

Sisters Of Sin vs Jamie Hayter And Queen Aminata AEW Tag Team Tournament.

I wasn't a big fan of this. The Match felt flat, and it's a real shame, because this had a lot of promise. The sisters got the win, thanks to Thekla, and this allowed Skye Blue to get the win, as she pinned Queen Aminata.

Samoa Joe vs Ricochet vs Hook vs Bobby Lashley.

This was excellent, and a superb Main Event. The Matches within the Match were solid, and executed at a solid rate. Hook had a few moments at the start, in which he was told to slow down, but as soon as he gained some moments of composure, he had a stand out showing. However it was the efforts of the senior vets in the Match, that made this Match special. Joe retained, after he put he put Ricochet in the Clutch for the win. What came afterwards was class. Phantom Of The Schiavone said that the contract signing would happen now, in the style of Halloween. It was at this point that a Cow, a. Chicken. Raw Meat, and. The Ghostbusters Marshmellow, all came out. Joe made Shibata, and. Hobbs take out these costumed clowns out. He cut a scaving promo, and then Tony asked for a toast of beer, but Tony was no where to be seen. The call back to the Ghostbusters spot from four years ago was awesome, and the reveal of Phantom Of The Hangman, was something that threw me, and has left me feeling excited for their Match at Full Gear. Like I said before, this was awesome.

Overview of this weeks AEW Dynamite.

Did I like this weeks show? Yes, but the overshadowing of Dodgy finishes to good Matches, and the confusion that good be looming with two Blood And Guts Matches, has left me feeling a bit uneasy.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 7/10.

My Top 5 Pro Wrestling Storylines That Would Be Better If Made By A Film Director.

Intro.

As a big fan of Horror, Science Fiction, and, Comic Book films, and overall anything to do with pop culture. I have a love for film and TV. It's through my love of these genres, that I found my guidance in what I want to do in my life. Writing is my main love, and being able to entertain people that check out these pages, provides me with a lot of pride, and as a creative person you could stretch this Into film creation, because this was something that at one point I wanted to look at doing, so this gave me an idea, what Pro Wrestling Storylines would look like under the guise of a film director, so lets get into it.

5. Sting 1996-1997 WCW Christopher Nolan.

The rise of the character that Steve Boardman portrayed between the years of 1996-2001 in this time is something that felt like a slowly cooked and marinaded peace of food, that overtime was allowed to develop into something that became new ground. This is what Christopher Nolan did to the Batman franchise. Sting has been open about his feelings around this time, about how the industry was changing. This is something that could be said about DC's Batman film franchise.

4. Francis Ford Coppola The Bloodline Saga.

when you dig beneath the surface of Film and TV, you can find characters the delve in the world of sociopathology, which is a term for some using there nice qualities to the awful detriment of others. This is were Michael Corleone, and Roman Reigns can intertwined together. This was the basis for what we saw as The Bloodline Saga, this started under the bad creative of He Who Shall Not Be Named, and was turned into HHH's magnum opus. Some film critics have said this about Francis Ford Coppola's first two installments of The Godfather Trilogy, and if he put his hands on this storyline, then just imagine how this would've turned out.

3. Cody Rhodes finishing His Story Steven Spielberg.

This was WWE's answer to telling a political fairytale story, that dealt with the themes of good vs evil. The elements of fantasy has been spoken about, and debated for years when Steven Spielbergs films have been spoken about. I do feel that the parralells that were on display echo the films of Hook, and. E.T. Cody Rhodes finishing his story left me with the feeling that I got when I was 8 years old, having watched E.T for the first time, moved, to the point that someones lifelong dream came true.

2.  Deadbeat At Dawn and The Texas Chainsaw Masacre Jim Van Bebber And Tobe Hooper The Wyatt Family.

From echoing of the same themes, to the overarching of feeling uneasy when Bray Wyatt and his brod came on screen in his early NXT days. When you look at these films in isolation, they deal with the same issues that The Wyatts brought into focus in WWE, and this got me thinking if the WWE got hold of this type pf creative, what would Bray Wyatt's run in the company look like in hindsight.

1. The Elite Saga Stanley Kubrick.

If you take a look at AEW in its early days, As a fan I think you could draw the line between the keyfabe, and the parrasocial. This is a great way to describe The Elite, and thier treatment of Hangman Adam Page. The arc of bullying is to take away someones freewill, basically making anyone inhuman. This is why I think that Stanley Kubrick would be great in this role. The way that Kenny Omega treated Hangman, taking away his ability to be human, and turning him to drink. Bringing on someones addiction is a form of bullying, and as The Young Bucks joined, this led to them being led on by the tretchery of someone else.
