AEW Dynamite Review 19.3.2026.

By Patrick O'malley

Will Osperay vs Blake Christian

I've heard some complaints online about this Match, and all I have to say is this. It's perfectly ok for Will to work at a 50% rate. In September of last year Will underwent spinal fusion surgery, which is something that normally keeps athletes out for at least a year, and the fact that Will has come back in less time is nothing short of amazing. Will got the win, and then proceeded to call out Jon Moxley. Will said that he's going to snap Jon's f****** neck with his bare hands. This led to a brawl that threatened to cancel the following Match. The Bang Bang Gang looked they were lost, because Pac and Will just thought like they were Hal From Malcolm In The Middle. Wills selling of his neck was excellent.

The Bang Bang Gang vs The Deathriders.

I'm in two minds with this Match. on one hand i'm glad that it has nothing to do with the TDCWO, and on the other hand, I thought this wasn't bad, even if it was lifeless. The Deathriders got the win.

Kenny Omega Segment.

Kenny Omega then called out Swerve Strickland, and then challenged him to a match. ( more on this later)

Darby Allin vs Gabe Kidd Coffin Match.

Oh my, this was chaotic. From the vingnette being soundtracked by one of my favourite bands ever Slaaaaaaaaaaaaaayer, Kidd wanting Darby to come out to the Parking lot, and just like that it went to 180. From an actually car crash. A man getting brought back into the arena on a random piece of sound equipment. This was a reminder that when AEW wants to, they can go all out bats*** crazy. Darby then persisted to humiliate Gabe by dressing him in a straight jacket, and slapping him like he was being tortured. Gabe would then smack Darby into the ring steps after he came two, busting him open. This would take the match into its final stages, as Darby's skateboard was used as a weapon. Darby got the win after he torpedo dived into Gabe, placing trapped in the coffin. I've got to admit it, the pre filmed stuff was heavily edited, and it worked in a psychotic weird way. I liked this. Darby then called MJF in the aftermath.

Lucha Express Are On There Travels.

( insert old school Postman Pat theme song ) Postman Perry. Postman Perry, and. Luchasaurus, he's sold his blacked out van, for something that's heavily nature friendly. I liked this montage, they even stopped for some petrol, and they didn't even buy a bag of more to share Malteasers, and a couple of bottles of Mountain Dew. The Young Bucks said that they would be getting back to winning ways tonight.

Swerve Strickland segment.

Prince Nana brought out his boss, to answer Kenny Omega's challenge, and what came next was simply awesome. Swerve sat in the middle of the ring, with just a spotlight on him, he went straight to business, he stated that he wants Kenny's power, because this is something that has held him down during his career, from the army, to WWE. This is something that he now craves, so he said that he would put his No1 Contendership on the line, if Kenny puts his EVP position on the line. Kenny vs Swerve 2 will go down on next week Dynamite. Next Thursday Morning is going to be awesome. I loved this segment.

Mark Davis vs Speedball Mike Bailey.

I liked this. The Dynamic of big vs small was played out to full effect. This is an essential dynamic in Pro Wrestling, and done well it can be a solid watch. This Match fell into that category. I loved there chemistry, and as the Match went into it's final stages, you could tell that both men were loving having this time spot. Speedball got the win.

MJF Segment.

This was filmed after his Classic Texas Death Match this past Sunday against Hangman Adam Page, and this was no notes perfect. I hear that Disneyland is nice at this time of year. Less tourists, or so I hear.

Marina Shafir vs Mina Shirakowa No Holds Barred Match.

Mina was brought in to take the place of Toni Storm, who was seen before the Match in earlier shot footage, having been beaten up. Now I wonder who could've done that. This felt a bit flat to me. The spots just felt like something that was just there, and this dragged down the quality of the Match. Mina got the win for her fallen friend. The Toni stuff is just a Ronda tease.

By Orders of The Andrade Blinders.

Renee Paquette was interviewing Andrade Selby. I mean El Idolo, and she pulled up her phone to show Don Callis calling in via facetime to say that the TDCWO is now in business with MJF, So I expect Darby Allin to get taken out at some point.

The Elite vs Ropongi Vice And Kazuchika Okada.

I liked this. As the early stages played out, two things went through my mind, the first was the fact that it should be illegal for party Matches like this to be this awesome, and the second was. Be still my NJPW, and. 2017 loving ROH Heart. This was fantastic, all six men packed in there moves, as the Matches within the Match, paved the way for the finish. The Elite getting the win. In the aftermath Matt and Nick took to the mic, and bared their thoughts on how they were going to gain back the AEW World Tag Team Championships, they spoke about how they had lost their self belief, and the fact that family ties is what will drive them. This brought out Cope and Cage, and just like that 13 year old Patrick felt very excited. This had fans chanting holys***, and it was well deserved. I could sit here and talk about this word for word, but when you dig beneath the surface, this dual was about respect, and how they're going to strip down FTR. This brought out FTR, Big Stoke was told to shut up, and just like that It was on. FTR vs Cope And Cage 2 at Dynasty, now this sounds awesome. Never tell a glorious man to shut up.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

I liked this show. This felt like a build up to a table setting episode, and it worked to a degree.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high solid 7/10.

AEW Revolution Review ( Delayed Edition ).

Written By Patrick O'malley.

Intro.

This past week has been a monumental week for AEW, from the company releasing the Wembley Stadium tickets. ( I will be there )  the company putting their best foot forward with this excellent ppv, to starting their own streaming service MYAEW. In last weeks Dynamite review I criticised the idea, because there was a lack of information regarding the rest of the roll out. However after doing my research into Triller TV's finances, and given the fact that I'm growing in the content game, making the purchase for one year made sense. I get that this makes me look like a hypocrite, but if your going to go down the content making rabbit hole, then you've got to prepare yourself to spend some money, I think that £ 90.00 for the year, and getting everything is a good deal, and the saving that I will make comes in at £ 194.00 pounds all together. The app will coming to more devices as the year continues. I urge fans to give this a look. Apologies for the delay. I'm so back.

Battle Royal.

Jack Perry won the Battle Royal for the AEW National Championship. This folded over from the Zero Hour Pre Show, and it wasn't bad. Ricochet then took to twitter in the aftermath, and he's put his foot in it. MS is no laughing matter.

FTR vs Young Bucks AEW Tag Team Championship.

This show has several Matches of the night/year contenders and this was one of them. Both teams have had excellent Matches in the past with there second Match in my opinion being the best. This Match comes a close second. The in ring work was sensational, as the blood dripped drama reached it's climax. FTR retained, and then the lights went out, and the word revenge showed on the screen, and then it happened. Adam Copeland, and. Christian Cage made their return to AEW. FTR made haist, as The Bucks staired at the pair. I liked this, and the tease is very intriguing.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Marina Shafir.

This was the best Womens Match on the card by a mile. Marina doing a interprative dance routine with her Deathriders team on entrance was funny, to Toni eating a Foot Sandwich. You could say that I had fun watching this on Monday Morning as I planned my notes. Toni got the win, and then as she was leaving, out from nowhere came Ronda Rousey. This has split the fanbase, well that's what I thought on Monday Morning, but as the day went on, this was met with pure vitriol. My thoughts. Ronda doesn't exactly have the best relationship with Pro Wrestling fans, and has been critical of how TKO manage their business. And on that measure, she's right. She's called them out for inflating ticket prices, for both UFC, and. WWE shows, and calling out both company's for generating a boys club mentality. I get why Toni would book this, because it's not a jab at the compettion. It's a sharp right, and left to the gut, and it's worked. On May 16th Ronda will face Gina Carano in a fight that MMA fans have dreamed about for years, however it's with Netflix, and not the UFC. This is a clear way of stating that your done with TKO. This could go either way, and i'm all here for it.

Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita AEW Continental Championship.

To those who read my Dynamite reviews on the weekly basis, you will know that i'm not a fan of this Deathriders vs TDCWO storyline. I feel that it's run its course, and after Sunday Night I want it to come to and end. The pacing of this ppv was spot on, and it showed with this Match, because as Ronda was walking Marina to the back Jon made his entrance, and just like that we were in business. This was another Match of the night contender filled with fantastic energetic bursts, that brought this lofi affair into action, as the storyline word of the Match, echoed from both men. Respect. The near falls created some excellent drama, as the final exchanges looked like we were going to get a time limit draw, but that wasn't the case as Mox choked out Konosuke to retain his belt. This was excellent. The aftermath ignited my passion for Superman. A video started to play of a man entering a cryobonic chamber, being led in by a Lex Luthor lookalike. The man was Will Osperay. The Billygoat is back, and as his music boomed out of the pa system at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, you could get the sense that business was about to pick up. Osperay vs Mox at Dynasty. Now that sounds tasty.

Babes Of Wrath vs Divine Dominion.

This Match didn't land with me. This is analysis of the Match. I'm not a big fan of wrestlers working double duty. I think it's too risky, as it deminishes the chance for further Matches. This is just my opinion. The Match felt a bit flat, and it didn't seem like the fans were into it. Divine Dominion got the win, and are our new AEW Womens Tag Team Champions.

Swerve Strickland vs Brody King.

This was a staunch physical affair, that kept me hooked from the outset. I had to go back and watch this again, because as I was watching this Match, the tickets for All In London went on sale. I liked this. Both men worked on the fundamentals of creating drama, this allowed the story of the Match to bleed out. Swerve got the win, and then wanted to go to his old bag of tricks, a cynder block. Thankfully a returning Kenny Omega to put a stop to this. I liked the Match, but I don't think that Swerve needed the win. Brody's rise in AEW has been one of it's best things so far this year, and I can't help but think that him not going over on Sunday, might be a tad damaging.

Thekla vs Kris Statlander 2 Out Of 3 Falls AEW Womens Championship.

I liked this. I don't think that it matched up to what came earlier in the evening, but I did enjoy it. Thekla is slowly becoming one of my favourite Female Pro Wrestlers, and her Matches against Kris Statlander have done what they needed to do. Thekla Retained, and just like that my mind goes to, what's next for Kris Statlander? Fantasy booking for Kris Statlander is difficult, because I want to be suprised with what she does next.

Mistico And Jetspeed vs  Protokada And Mark Davis AEW Trios Championships.

This was another Match of the night contender. The pace was fast, and the in ring worked and had a steady flow. This was a flawless Trios Match, and something that I was pleasantly suprised by. Jetspeed And Mistico got the win, and are our new AEW Trios Champions. The Matches within the Match were steller like I thought they would, and. Mistico went from being the Matches unsung hero, to being All Elite by it's end. This was a nice touch, and an emotional moment for Mistico. I loved this.

Bandido vs Andrade El Idolo.

If you know anything about Mexican Promotions, then you would know that this is a dream Match, and something that fans have been clambering for. I loved there energy, and you could feel it through the TV screen. This was a fantastic Match, that added a sense of belonging for Mexican Pro Wrestling on North American shores. I didn't care who won this, because I could've watched another hour of this.

Tornado Tag Team Match Orange Cassidy. Darby Allin, and. Roderick Strong vs The Dogs.

Look. I did like this Match, I just feel that this would've been better placed on Dynamite. There were some good spots like Clark Connors wrecking his neck with that dive, and cable ties being used with humerous effect, but I got the feeling that this was a glorified TV Match taking place on a PPV. Cassidy, and his mates got the win.

Texas Death Match MJF vs Hangman Adam Page AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

As I sit here on a Wednesday night writing this piece. I realise that i'm late to the party, but this is due to the fact that on Monday night I wasn't feeling very well, and I was feeling rundown from my Day Job. A lot has been said about the overall violence of the Match, but in my opinion, it needed to be this violent, as it was poetic by the way that it finished. Back in July at All In Texas. Hangman Adam Page choked out Jon Moxley to become the AEW World Heavyweight Champion. Fast forward 8 months, and. Max is choking him out in the same way that he won the belt. This was poetic violence being served up to the masses, and it was awesome. From highlight facial expressions to some sickening weapon spots. This was majestic bloodsoaked violence. MJF got the win, as his and Hangmans trilogy comes to a gratifying bloodstained end. This is so far my Match of the year, and a true coming of age moment to end the PPV.

Overview Of AEW Revolution 2026.

I've heard some fans online call this one of the best AEW PPV's in the company's history. Do I agree with this, well, no. Because this was excellent but it's not in the same league as All Out 2021. Double Or Nothing 2021. All In 2023, and 2024, or Revolution 2022, but this was a solid coming of age show, that managed to help AEW continue its great run of form this year.

AEW Revolution 2026 is a high standard 9/10.

 Monday Night Raw Review. 26.3.2026

Written By Patrick O'malley.

My Apologies.

This is starting to become a running joke at this. I've had to cancel working on this past weekends Friday Night Smackdown, and UFC Apex cards, this is due to my day Job needing me, and then you throw in the fact that I wasn't feeling very well. I still have plans to cover AEW Revolution, that review has been held back until tomorrow due to this fact. I'm feeling a lot better now so normal 5 pieces a week should come back from Tomorrow. You guys know that I hate cancelling things, and making decisions like this doesn't sit very well with me, but due to the fact that I was left feeling rundown. and unwell I had no other choice but to listen to my body and rest. So all that's left is to say is this. I'm so back people.

Superstars Seen Turning Up To Work.

Mr And Mrs Punk. Maxxine Dupri. The Judgement Day, and. Stephanie Vaquer, were all seen showing up to work.

Seth Rollins Segment.

Seth Rollins and his band of Black hoodie wearing Puddies came out to start off the show. He said that he's the one who started The Vision, and he's the one who's going to take them out, by destroying them, and marking there cards for death. Paul Heyman then came out, and this was when the promo segment shifted gears. He walked out looking dischevelled, and void of any emotion, and he sold this perfectly. He said that he f***** with Seth, because he liked f****** with him, and that's when he gave way for ( Sigh ) Brock Lesnar. Seth instantly instructed his Puddies to attack, but Brock took all of them out, and that's when the lights went out, and out came my saving grace. Oba Femi, who then dominated Brock. This segment was decent, but what brought me down was Brock Lesnar in 2026. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that Oba has a big time WrestleMania Match, I just don't think that it should be with a man who was mentioned 40+ times in a sex trafficking lawsuit. This segment was good, but at the same time, it was morally bankrupt, and this is a message that i'm not going to stop screaming about.

Original Elgrande Americano vs Elgrande Americano.

I've got to admit it. I had fun watching this, even this storyline has been run into the ground. Elgrande, beat umm, Elgrande in what was a fun TV outing.

The Bloodline Reunited.

Roman Reigns showed up to the venue, and was met by his cousins Peabob, and. Rocksteady, I mean Jimmy, and. Jey. Roman cut a direct to camera promo taking aim at Cm Punk. This would be a episode long storythread.

Danhausen Segment.

This segment had me shouting were's Arn Anderson when you need him, because Danhausen had a gun, oh wait everyone it's just a t shirt gun, filled with cursed t shirts. I thought that this was very nice, but very evil. Watch out Grayson Waller. Kofi leave Jevon alone.

Liv Morgan Segment.

This segment had me embracing my inner Vampire Willow from Buffy The Vampire. Bored now. I'm starting to lose all interest in Liv's character at the minute because it hasn't developed at all since last year. Hearing her act gleeful about kicking Finn out of The Judgement Day was painful.

AJ Lee vs Bayley. WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship.

I liked this. I went back and watched the time when these two faced each other on NXT from back in 2013, and you can clearly tell that HHH was in the mood to play with toys, because that Match worked then, and suprise suprise so did this one. Both women have awesome chemistry, and you could tell that this was a way to get AJ ready for Mania, and as the Match went into last exchanges you could see this pairs trust come out. AJ retained and was attacked by her future Mania opponent Becky Lynch.

Penta vs ? WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Penta's opponent was Dragon Lee, and oh my this Match banged. I loved how both men brought this Match into life with Mexican flare, and desire, you could tell that there was no plan for this Match, so who produced just said, i'm going to take the wheels off, and let you guys rip the house down. Penta retained. This was great.

Maxxine Dupri vs Nattie.

Ok Patrick be nice. Nattie got the win. WWE please move on from this, because this just isn't working.

Randy Orton Interview.

I liked this. The whole segment was a solid way to follow up Friday Night Smackdowns segment of the year. Who was Randy on the phone to. He said that Wrestling has more than one Royal family. I mean he's not lying.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Raquel Rodriguez.

I liked this, but I didn't love it, the first stages felt like these two were going through the motions, whilst the second part, reminded me of an aging rockband playing their greatest hits, because I felt like i've seen this before, this Match also laid bare one of my pet peeves in Pro Wrestling. I hate it when the outcome to a Match is so painsakingly obvious. It's clear to me that Vaquer is dropping the belt to Liv at Mania, and just like that the womens Championship gets even more tiresome, because Stephanie Vaquer, who i'm a big fan of needs to be booked better. Because her run as WWE Womens champion, has been sub par at best.

Roman Reigns And Cm Punk Segment.

This was a 22 minute run through of a segment that struggled at the beginning. Now don't get me wrong I loved the segment because it worked as both men took the fans on a trip down backwards psychology avenue, as their verbal back and forth felt just as fluid. Punk is in Romans head, and it's making for great TV, but they needed to get to the fireworks factory a bit quicker.

Overview of Monday Night Raw.

As Mania looms ever closer the booking is starting to look a more clear, and that feeling of it'll be alright on the night is starting to look mighty fine in my opinion. Moral Bankruptcy aside this was a solid show with good to great in ring work, and solid promos.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.

AEW Dynamite Review.

My Thoughts On MyAEW.

Earlier this week it was announced that AEW was launching it's own streaming service called MYAEW. That would be supported on all Apple TV. Android TV's, and. Roku Devices. Chromebooks, and. Smart Devices. But Samsung TV's. Hisense TVs, and all Toshiba models have been left out. I think that it's a great idea that AEW has it's own platform, and it's by all accounts it's good value for money. I do have one major gripe, and it's this. The transparantcy surrounding it's future roll out dates with these company's has been a bit of a let down to me. I own a Samsung TV, and because Samsung doesn't have the right plugins I can't access the videos from a standard browser. I get that rollouts take time, and this can be sorted in time. It's just not right to not give fans all the info.

Jon Moxley And Claudio Castagnoli vs Konosuke Takeshita And Hechicero.

I've got to admit, this was decent, but this Deathriders vs Don Callis Family storyline is getting boring, and if i'm being honest I just want it to end. Jon and Claudio got the win, and then got attacked by Dons band of goons. They tried to tempt Konosuke into giving Jon a steelchair shot. But he refused it, because he wants to win the belt his way. The Match on Sunday for the Continental Championship will bang. I'm just bored of this storyline.

TNT Championship Match Speedball Mike Bailey vs Kyle Fletcher.

This is a TV Match of the contender, and were only in March. This is the second pairing for these two, they had a banging Match last year on Dynamite, and when you take a look at last years TV Matches, this was just under Hangman Adam Page vs Josh Alexander. From Kyle Taking a nasty looking Poison Rana on the ring apron. Mike taking Kyles nasty looking knees, to Speedball levelling up with his octane counteractions. This Match was awesome, and as the time faded into the background, the near falls stole the show. Kyle got the win, thanks to Okada, and. Mark Davis. Some fans have said that Tomasso Ciampa and Fletcher had an all timer a few weeks ago, but I think that this was better for my taste. Both men showed that they wanted this spotlight.

Brody King Match.

Brody King decked a Local Jobber, and chased off Swerve Strickland after a Chain attack. I liked this. Swerve dressed like one of Seth Rollins goons was funny.

Orange Cassidy And Darby Allin vs The Dogs.

Last week it was confirmed that Gabe Kidd And Clark Connors, and David Finlay were signed to AEW Contracts, and I think that given how NJPW isn't in the best place at the moment, this does make sense. This Match however was a heavily layered affair, and if i'm being, you could tell. Gabe Kidd, and. David got the win, and Roderick Strong came out, and reunited with his friend Orange cassidy. Both men then took out the dogs. This wasn't for me

Persephone vs Willow Nightingale AEW TBS Championship.

This Match worked in waves. I got the sense that the fans were tired during this Match, because they only seemed to come alive for the big moments, the action fell a bit flat, and Ian Ricobani's wrap reminded me of the times when Ex Liverpool player John Barnes had a minor Rap Music Career. Willow retained, this Match was all over the place.

Dem Bucks vs DIFTR.

This was a fascinating trios Match. The Matches within the Match Mark Briscoe vs Tomasso Ciampa, and. Dax Harwood vs Matt Jackson were standouts, and the  table spots were well timed. The Physicality became the back bone for the storytelling, as the Match entered its last stages. DIFTR got the win. I liked this.

Revolution Press Conference Hangman Adam Page And MJF.

From using real journalists like Denise Salcedo, and former UFC Flyweight Champion Demitrious Johnson, to Bryan Danielson standing in the middle of two men that he's had history with, as the questions laid bare both mens intentions for there Texas Deathmatch this weekend. MJF stole the show as he played into Hangmans addiction issues, this led to a fight in the fans, that led to the ring. Hangman came out looking strong, whilst Max looked weak, as he escaped a deadeye on a barbwire board. This is something that might have given away the end to Sundays Match, and with the return of will Osperay on the Horizon, this is a tricky piece of booking that needs to have a clear path. This was an awesome segment, and it worked to get me excited for the PPV this Sunday.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

This is a very important week for the Jacksonville company. Tickets go on sale this Monday for there return to Wembley Stadium. Revolution is on Sunday, and the MYAEW platform has a lot of fans feeling in a good place with the promotion, and they have the right to be. Even though i'm not happy with the app rollout at the minute. It hasn't stopped my enjoyment of the weekly product, this was a solid go home show before a major PPV, and a good way to send AEW into the second quarter of the year.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a Solid 8/10

Top 5 Moments In WWE History When They Did Something Nice For Ordinary Fans.

Written By Patrick O'malley.

Intro

It's nice when someone does something decent for you, when it's taking in a parcel for you, buying you a suprise bar of chocolate, or even going the extra mile to make you smile, but does this happen if you're a WWE fan, well, yes. Superstars over the years have been known to go and make fans smile here are just a few moments when WWE went over the odds to please others.

5. John Cena Meets A Fan Who Fled The Ukraine.

In March of 2022 Russia Declared war on Ukraine, in a moment that caused mass panic that would continue over the next few years, and counting. In November of that year John travelled to Holland to meet a fan with Down Syndrome who's family had escaped from the country as the war intensified. He spent the afternoon with the boy and his family, eating cake, and playing videogames. This is what being an entertainer is all about, giving up your time, so that others can benefit from your time. It doesn't matter if you love or hate John, but you do have to give him your respect in my opinion, this showed what a class human being that he is.

4. The Rock Meeting Fans.

Over the years I've heard several great moments when Dwayne The Rock Johnson has been nice to fans, from sending a teacher a farewell message before they retired, to spending time with a young fan whilst on the set of Moana. Dwayne has also been known to have done work with the Make A Wish Foundation. Dwayne might be The Final Boss in the ring, but when it comes to real life, he's a solid class act. If ya smell what the Final Boss is cooking.

3. Giving Time For The Ultimate Warriors Daughters.

Even though i'm not a big fan of the man known as James Hellwig due to the stories that came out after he had left WWE, but i'm someone who believes that the sins of the father should not be placed on the daughters. This is what happened after his passing in april of 2014. His two young daughters at the time were brought backstage to a WWE House Show. They were seen taking photos with the likes of Paige. Alicia Fox, and Daniel Bryan. I might not have liked the type of person that Warrior became, but it just goes to show, that the poison that he believed in, hasn't dripped down onto the next generation.

2. Mick Foley's Charitable Efforts.

There's a reason why Mick Foley is called Jolly Old Saint Mick, he's as genuine as the day is long. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He's written multiple books, one of them called A Hardcore Journal, which was written about his charity exploits, from working with Children charity's like Give Kids The World Village, and. RAINN an organisation set up to try and all violence against women and Girls, to working with the Cauliflower Alley Club, to auction off memorabilia in aid to help wrestlers in need. Mick is a stand up guy, who's been known to be nice to fans, and those less fortunate, because everyone Foley Is Good. If you've never heard the story about his Kids Christmas book from back in the year 2000 came around, then I urge you to look it up.

1. The Story Of Connor The Crusher.

Cancer is a cruel and nasty beast, and when it takes the life of a child it's makes life feel very unfair. Connor Malik was an obsessed fan of WWE, and at the age of five, he was battling this awful disease. In the Summer of 2012, he got given the chance to go backstage at a WWE Event with his family, and meet the superstars, he met the likes of AJ Lee. John Cena, and a man who would go on to be a family friend Daniel Bryan. This would be an ever affecting friendship, that would last until after Wrestlemania 30. When Daniel Bryan won the triple threat Match between himself. Randy Orton, and. Batista, he went over and held Connor as the pyro went off into the night. This was a reminder to hold your loved ones close, because they might not be here to see tomorrow. I remember watching Mania that year, and hearing this story, and the first thing that I did, was reach out to a friend of mine, and as it turned out, his dad was battling cancer, and lived to tell the tale. Connors story affected my friend, as he gave his dad the strength that he needed.

Intro.

As I sat down to write this piece. I felt an enormous amount of anxiety, and pride mixed together, this is because as a creator I feel a great deal of responsibility, when delivering my work, because I don't know what goes on in you the readers lives. This is why entertainment of all kinds isn't just important, it's valid. So if my work takes someone away from what's going on in there lives, then i'm ok with that, because to me, you're well being to me is important, so this is me signing off by doing something nice. Have a Nice Day.

WWE Monday Night Raw Review 10.3.26

Written By Patrick O'malley.

Superstars Seen Turning Up.

Penta. The Kabuki Warriors. Oba Femi. Rusev, and. Cm Punk were all seen before the show.

Adam Pearce Segment.

Monday Night Raw kicked off with Adam Pearce standing in the middle of the ring, looking like an annoyed school headmaster before an assembley, so he called out the cause of his annoyance. Seth Rollins. What came next was pure comedy. The Black hoodies came out, and they did the dodgiest version of comtemporary dance that I've ever seen, only to reveal Seth just standing there. Adam tried to reason with him, as the outlook of The Vision has not just started to dwindle, they've become redundant. Adams words brought out Austin Theory, and everyones favourite fake conversation maker Logan Paul, and just like always they added nothing to this promo segment. LA Knight then showed up, to have a fight, as The Uso's made the save. I hated this. The hoodies are WWE's answer to The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Puddies, and it's embarrassing. Whilst the scripting surrounding this segment was woeful at best.  As a child growing up. My older brother loved to listen to the band Weezer. This segment reminded of the end to there Bubby Holly music video. Not so good Al.

Womens Intercontinental No1 Contenders Gauntlet Match.

I't's no secret that i'm not a fan of this Match stipulation, and it's for this reason. All the tropes that you would expect came in. It was too long, and quickly became overexhausting to watch. This lasted for nearly over 40 minutes, and even though i'm a fan of all the ladies in this Match, overall this did nothing for me. Bayley beat. Asuka. Iyo Sky. Raquel Rodriguez, and. Lyra Valkyria, to earn herself a shot at AJ Lee's Womens Intercontinental Championship Thanks to Lyra Valkyria. Becky Lynch's X game during this Match was pure patter. Oh and hello Liv Morgan. She messed up.

Nattie Segment.

I had one thought that ran through my mind when I watched this ad filler segment, and it's this. Nattie has just given Shakira her next hit, I mean Harts don't lie sells itself. Thank God Maxxine Dupri shut her up. I hate this new character, but everyone week I Clockwork Orange my eyes open just so I can review it. I do the work so you guys don't have to.

Elgrande Americano Segment Meets Danhausen.

I love me some Danhausen especially when he's annoying people. The OG Elgrande Americano was a bit rude wasn't he. Danhausen then put a curse on him turning him into the new Elgrande Americano. This would lead to The New Elgrande Americano losing his shot at the Intercontinental Championship against Penta, in what was a boring TV Match.

Stephanie Vaquer Segment.

Stephanie Vaquer hates Liv Morgan. In the words of Vampire Willow from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Bored now.

Danhausen Segment.

I want a free Danhausen t shirt, because i'm a 38 year old fanhausen. He's very nice. Very evil. I love that Danhausen.

A Judgement Day Divided.

Poor Finn Balor. He's the voice of reason. Dominik Mysterio proved why he's an underrated heel. He acted like the stereotypical crybaby, and excuse maker, and called out Finn Balor. The Irishman then came out, and stood his corner, stating that he was trying to help Dom last week, but what he learnt was that Dom is a selfish p****, because he's pushed everyone away that has tried to help him. He pie faced Dom, and just like that it was done, and sealed with pure chaos. Finn was beaten down by. Liv. Raquel. JD, and of course Dom. I liked this. We can all celebrate now, because the ballad of The Judgement Day Saga is over, and Kiss can finally retire.

Kofi Kingston Gave Jevon Evans Some Advice.

Kofi Kingston gave Jevon Evans some advice. There's only one Kofi Kingston, so don't step on my feet kid.

Rusev vs Oba Femi.

Funny thing I was eating a MEAT sandwich when I watched this, because who doesn't like big beefy boys doing big beefy things. Oba got the win.

Cm Punk Segment.

I loved this. Punk as always was on fire last night, as he laid bare what he knows what he is. The best of the best, and a proud fighting champion. Punk has great taste in movies, because the Best Of The Best film series is awesome, and I won't hear nothing more. He said that if anyone challenges him, they better come physically and verbally prepped, because he would bury them, just like he did Roman Reigns. This brought out The Uso's, who stood up for there absent, and fallen family members. Both Jimmy, and. Jey just wanted Punk to apologise for what he said last week about Romans Dad. Punk talked about the history that he has with the Anoi family, and he spoke with passion, whilst making the brothers think. why are they out here, It's because Punk is in Romans head. He's here whilst Roman doesn't care. This was brilliant. This worked to dig beneath the surface of Romans mental state, whilst he wasn't in the building.

Overview Of WWE Monday Night Raw.

This was a mediocre run through of a tame show. WWE can do so much better than this, and given the fact that were on the road to WrestleMania, this weeks Monday Night Raw screamed must do better.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a low 4/10.

UFC 326 Breakdown.

Written By Patrick O'malley.

Intro.

Over the past few weeks i've started to play catch up on all things Ultimate Fighting Championship. I plan on covering all events from this past Febuary this week in a special combined piece, which should be out by this weekend. I got the chance last night to watch UFC 326, so here's my Breakdown of the main card.

Gregory Robocop Rodrigues vs Bruno Ferreira Middleweight Division.

This fight never made it out of the first round. Robocop knocked out Bruno out in quick fashion. As much as I love a good old fashioned knock out, I felt a bit let down by how Ferreira played out his game plan. It's known that Ferreira has a solid ground game, so the fact that he never attempted to take down Rodrigues just said everything that I need to know. He stayed standing, and he got found out. Rodrigues was one of four fighters who received a performance of the night bonus. I mean I can see why.

Drew Dober vs Michael Johnson Lightweight Division.

I've been watching Michael Johnson since his days on season 12 of the Ultimate Fighter, so seeing him put in a performance like this, felt a little disheartening. Drew Dober knocked him with a perfect crisp right hook straight punch combo. This came in the second round, and at first I thought I thought this round would follow the first round went, a rattled cagey affair, but I was wrong. Drew's stand up has improved. I thought that this fight would be won on the ground, given both mens pedigree for the groundgame, but all this has done is prove that sometimes it's ok to be completely wrong. Drew was also given a performance of the night bonus.

Rob Font vs Raul Rosas Jnr. Bantamweight Division.

This fight was a look into what a study in contrast looks like. Rob Font has an underrated groundgame that is centred around his jiu jitsu skills, whilst Rosas Jnr is a stand out in the striking department. However what transpired was a backwards look at swapping styles. Rob Tried to stay on his feet whilst Rosas Jnr took him down and dominated him over the three rounds. Raul Rosas Jnr showed on Saturday that his Wrestling has improved since his last outing. Raul Rosas Jnr got the win via unnanamous decision. Was this fight good. Yes, but am I going to be talking about this in three months time, well if i'm being honest no.

Caio Borralho vs Reinier De Ridder. Middleweight Division.

On paper I thought that this would be a safe win for the fighting nerds. And I was kind of right. Over the three rounds what we got was Caio owning his Dutch counterpart in what was a complete let down. Neither man showed their abilities to at their best. Caio is a promising striker, whilst Reinier has one of the most underrated Wrestling Games in the whole UFC Middleweight Division. So seeing these try and play it safe, was a bit of a let down. Caio got the win as the three rounds came to a close. I'm just going to say it. This fight was the one that I was most looking forward to when the card came out, next to the main event, and what I saw was a let down. Both performances looked phoned in, and it showed.

Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway 2 BMF Championship.

This fight left me feeling bemused, but also amazed at the same time, let me explain. When this fight got confirmed in the back end of last year, I was excited to see how it would play out. I'm a big fan of both men so as you could imagine my excitement levels went through the roof. Both men have a steller groundgame, but only one man showed that. Charles proceeded to dominate Max with ease over the five rounds. I was amazed how Charles was able to neutrilise Max's superior striking, by using his Wrestling, and. Jiu Jitsu, and it was stunning to see Max got owned in this fashion. This wasn't a five round war, this was a five round manhandling. Lets just put it this way. Max only landed 26 strikes to Charles over the five rounds, whilst Charles neutrilised his offence for nearly 21 minutes. Now that Charles is the new BMF Champion. I have started to wander what is next for Max. I would like him to face someone like Paddy Pimblett, or Maybe Drew Dober, because stylistically these fights would make sense. This was a career best performance by Oliveira. He truly is the BMF.

Overview Of UFC 326.

This PPV online has been hit with it's critics, and look I get it, but in my opinion, if you move the main event to one side, this was a bang average PPV. I liked the opening fights, whilst Font vs Rosas Jnr was decent, but it was Borralho vs De Ridder that to me was a let down. But in reflection this night was about taking at where the UFC should take Max Holloway next. Whilst Charles Oliveira sits above his throne.

UFC 326 is a high 7/10.

 Sunday Evening Smackdown Review.

Written By Patrick O'malley.

WWE manages to get fans talking with new Wrestlemania direction.

Intro.

No guys. You're eyes aren't deceiving you. I'm writing the Smackdown review on a Sunday evening, this is due to timing, so I could work in my day job, and get some things finalised. I've got big plans for the blog going as this year continues, so planning is key.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Jade Cargill. Drew Mcintyre, and, Rhea Ripley were seen showing up, whilst Cody was seen sat in the stands, sitting in a seat that he probably didn't have to pay for.

Randy Orton Segment.

The show kicked off, with Randy Orton wearing a new piece of hideous Merchandise, that screamed take my money, and where's my bank card. He opened up about how this would be his twentieth Mania, and I have to admit that this made me feel old. I was sixteen when Randy took part in his first Mania. I'm 39 now. Having Randy win the Elimination Chamber makes a lot of sense from a booking perspective even if fans may not want it. Randy spent more than 16 months on the sidelines with a back injury, that nearly put an end to the vipers career. Trick Williams then put a stop to proceedings, but before he could say the words Lemon Pepper Steppers, Randy shut him down with an RKO. I liked this.

Carmelo Hayes vs Dr Hijo Del Wagner Jnr United States Open Challenge.

I liked this. I have to admit that i'm not the biggest fan of AAA because i'm more of a CMLL guy, but this was a fun Match, and a good bit of business. Carmelo retained his belt.

Ilja Dragonov Segment.

Ilja Dragonov. Kit Wilson, and. The Miz were all in a segment together. I smell a threeway coming on.

Nick Aldis Segment.

Damien Priest is now in a Tag Team With R Truth, who looks great with a shaved head, and. Drew Mcintyre is doing Nick Aldis's head in. Sounds like a standard Friday Night for the Smackdown general manager. He reminds of a non controversial version of Rodney Dangerfield, because he gets no respect.

Irrestible Forces Tag Team Championship Celebration And Flair And Bliss vs Giulia and Kiana James.

Ididn't like either of these moments. The Celebration segment felt like booking from the He Who Shall Not Be Named play book. The dialogue that was exchanged from the start, and through to the Flair and. Bliss, and Giulia and Kiana all felt forced, and unbelievable From the concept to the end. This was badly scripted garbage. And the Flair and Bliss vs Giulia and Kiana James Match felt the wrath of the earlier segment, because the Match failed to get out of 1st gear. Flair and Bliss got the win.

JellyRoll Is Coming Back To Friday Nights.

JellyRoll is coming back to Friday Night Smackdown next week, to see his friend Randy Orton. I'm just going to say this. JellyRoll has seen a little bit of controversy over the past week thanks to his old friend Ryan Upchurch. Now I don't know all the details, but what I can gather, this sounds like a smear campaign. I'm on my man Jelly's side.

Sami Zayn Segments.

I'm starting to like what WWE are doing with Sami Zayn. His decent into a unhinged lunatic says that a heel turn is on the horizon. This interactions with Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes are a post Mania tease to keep your eyes on.

Tag Team Turmoil.

R Truth. And. Damien Priest, beat. The Motorcity Machine Gunns. Los Garza. Fraxiom, and. The Wyatt sic. in what was a fun TV Match. I'm not a big fan of these type of TV Match stips, but this one was good.

Jade Cargill And Rhea Ripley Segment.

I loved this. It has been reported by multiple Pro Wrestling Media outlets this week that Rhea, and. Jade didn't like each other, and the commentary team of Michael Cole, and. Wade Barrett played into this, and it worked. You could tell that both ladies were holding back so that they could do business, and this made for some fantastic TV. I still think this Match could be a misfire, but  the ladies were excellent here.

Johnny Gargano Segment.

Johnny Gargano, is going back to his old gimmick. Johnny wrestling, it's just a shame that Oba Femi then murdered him. Oh well I guess.

Danhausen Segment.

Danhausen being coached by The Miz. Hah i'm laughing already. Now can someone get Danhausen that blimp that he wants, because that would be very nice, very blimpy.

Cody Rhodes vs Drew Mcintyre WWE Championship.

This was a plodding, and lofi affair, that just felt like it was just going through the motions. The in ring work was decent, but it also felt like a safe bet being played out on TV, as imitation became the best form of flattery. Cody got the win, and is now a three time WWE Champion. My thoughts on his booking decision is simple. I liked the idea of Drew as WWE Champion, and giving him those moments as Champion on the recent UK/EUROPEAN Tour was a nice moment that needed to savoured, but what came next was a far cry from what was promised. His Match with Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble failed to get over with fans, whilst the lack of care, just catered to WWE's continuing thread of there bad rapor with fans. So getting the belt away from Drew does make sense. Cody vs Randy is something that we haven't seen under HHH's eyes, and I have to admit it, this looks very intriguing. The Match wasn't for me.

Overview of Friday Night Smackdown.

I liked elements of this show, whilst other moments just made me either question my life choices or not get excited for Mania. This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is good, but some fans might see it as uneven.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a low 7/10.

Top 5 Times Tony Khan Was An Elite Booker.

Intro.

Written By Patrick O'malley.

In May of 2019. The Pro Wrestling world went through a change with the debut of AEW. Following on in October of that year we got the launch of its weekly TV output. AEW Dynamite would go head to head with WWE NXT, due to that Promotions selfish claim for dominance, as part of the Wednesday Night Wars. This would lead to a modern day form of inginuity, and trailblazing, as innovation lead for great booking to come to life. This is my list of the moments when Tony Khan proved to the Pro Wrestling industry that he's an Elite booker. So sit back, get yourself a drink and a snack, and I will begin.

5. Brodie Lee's Passing.

On  26th of December 2020, the world was saddened to hear the news of the passing of John Huber, aka. Luke Harper in WWE, and Mr Brodie Lee in AEW. This sent a shock through the industry as it was confirmed that he had passed away from Non Covid related issues. The WWE dedicated an episode of Friday Night Smackdown, whilst AEW focused an entire episode of Dynamite on the fallen Dark Order leader. Cody Rhodes paid tribute to his former adversary on this night, whilst Eric Redbird/Rowan was seen in an emotional state, as Tony Khan embraced Negative One. John's Young Son. This was a truly Touching Reminder that the Pro Wrestling world should always remember it's fallen brothers/sisters.

4. The First Ladies Lights Out Match Thunder Rosa vs Dr Britt Baker.

This took place on the 17th of March edition of AEW Dynamite. It was also brutal from it's layout, all the way to its execution. This laid bare an industry that would normally protect women from this form of Match. It was refreshing to see, and a bald move to book this Match. The Match was rated 5 stars by the Wrestling Observer, and acted like a reminder, that if you've got the talent, then you need to let them loose. Tony Khan took this chance, and the gamble paid off. Both Thunder Rosa, and. Dr Britt Baker may have a highly contencious relationship, as it has been reported over the years, but when you look back at this Match, you could easily see that they have amazing chemistry, and giving them the main event stage was a piece of devine booking.

3. The First Dance.

This was a play on words used to bring back Cm Punk to the industry, that had used and tarnished him. This came together as a series of easter eggs would play out on Dynamite. And then it happened. On the 17th of August Cm Punk returned to the Ring on an episode of AEW Rampage. Even though Punks run in Jacksonville would get cut short to due backstage politics becoming the main source of contention. Khans booking of Punk in this time was nothing short of perfect. His Match against Darby Allin at All Out, was based around respect. Whilst his feuds with Eddie Kingston, and. MJF were seen as a study in contrast. one hand there was the sense of reality, and on the other we got a storyline that would never get bettered. This proved that Khan had the notion to be up there with the best.

2. Taking An Entire Network To Task.

On the 17th of January 2023 The world was saddened to hear the news of Jay Briscoe Passing. From a car accident in Laurel Delaware. Previously Jay had been a point of Contention due to things that he had said in the past from Warner Bros. Tony Khan who owned ROH battled TBS to get Mark Jays Brother on that weeks edition of Dynamite. Khan managed to make this happen, and. Mark faced Jay Briscoe on this night. It has to be noted that in the times after when Jay said what he said about same sex marriages. He went into the LGBTQ+ Pro Wrestling community, and spoke to gay Wrestlers, as a way of understanding the era of his ways. This would be brought up as Khan Battled AEW's home network TBS.

1. Bringing In Dr Martha Hart.

This was a move that Khan should be praised for. On the 23rd of May 1999, at the WWF Over The Edge PPV. Owen Hart lost his life after a staged ceiling stunt went wrong, causing Owen to plunge to his death. This would lead to several legal issues that were settled out of court in 2003. Martha would start to have issues with the Hart Family, over all of this. She would then have nothing to do with the industry. In April of 2022 AEW announced it's first incarnation of the Owen Hart Tournament. The introduction used footage of Owens days in NJPW. Tony Khan brought Martha out on the 11th of May edition of Dynamite Martha to kick start the tournament. This was a monumental moment in time, because it was only a decade before this that Martha, and her kids wanted nothing to do with the Pro Wrestling industry. Tony Khan deserves all the praise in the world for bringing her back to an industry that gave her nothing but pain, and showing her that the industry has a soul, and a heart, after a time that wasn't so kind to her.

Overview Of This Piece.

I enjoyed writing this. When I came up with the idea for this piece. I knew that elements would be difficult to write, but Tony has been a source of inspiration to me, because the company grew, so did my confidence when it came to working out what I wanted to do with my life, and were I saw it going. If you have a goal in life, then reach for the stars and keep reaching.

 AEW Dynamite Review 5.3.2026.

By Patrick O'malley

Kevin Knight vs MJF AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

This Match in my opinion acted like an audition piece for Knight, and he did well. The balance within the Match did what it needed to do. Make Kevin look like a millionaire, whilst Max looked dominant through cheating. Kevin's coast to coast looked awesome. Max got the win, and retained his belt with a heatseaker. Speedball Mike Bailey made the save, when Kevin got decked by Max in the aftermath. Thanks to Hangman Adam Page. I liked this.

Orange Cassidy And Darby Allin vs Gabe Kidd And Clark Connors.

I liked this. From the very opening, you got the sense of urgentcy. and this allowed the physicality to get over with fans. The way that this Match was styled played into how the story would develop. It was well layered, and with each layer as it unravelled, you got something new. The first layer saw Gabe Kidd get mouthy with Darby, and the second saw a solid round of exchanges that gave Orange, and. Darby get the win, they will be fighting again at Revolution. I love Timeless Toni Storm. Oh and hello David Finlay. It's believed that David is now All Elite. WWE did show interest in him, because his brother and Dad are involved in the NXT System, but the deal came together last week, as talks with WWE fell through.

Bandido vs Andrade El Idolo.

Bandido vs Andrade El Idolo at Revolution. Ok take my money Tony Khan It's not like I have weekly food shops, and bills to pay.

The Brawling Birds vs The Inspiration.

The Brawling Birds don't give a f*** about posing, because they battered The Inspiration in less than 2 minutes. I hear that someone in Newcastle Upon Tyne is currently crying.

Hangman Adam Page vs Marty Snow.

One buckshot one win, that's an easy night for Hangman Adam Page. Hangman then cut a scaving promo on Max. I loved this. It was word spilled viscerality served up to the masses. Max answered this back, and then Hangman was attacked by the TDCWO from behind. Speedball Mike Bailey, and. Kevin Knight made the save, and they were then greated by Don Callis, who told them he had spoken to Tony Khan, and he has given the ok for them to challenge for the trios championship in the main event.

Young Bucks vs FTR Face To Face.

This segment had me laughing. From Big Stoke nearly not being able to get his wheelchair through the doors, to Brandon Cutler getting decked. I loved this.

Jon Moxley vs Hechicero.

I didn't like this. The Match was decent, but i'm done with the whole TDCWO vs The Deathriders storyline. Mox got the win, and you know what I don't care.

The Segment Of The Night.

What came after this was easily the segment of the night. Brody King stormed out to the ring, and he called out Swerve Strickland. he was met by Prince Nana. who acted like a distraction, because Swerve attacked Brody from behind, and tried to choke him out. Whilst he cut an excellent on him. Bandido came out to make the save. This was excellent.

Thunder Rosa vs Thekla AEW Womens Championship.

I liked this. Thekla is going to hold the belt all the way through to All In London, so it does beg the question, who's going to take the belt from her?  I can see Kris Statlader getting another shot at some point after Revolution. Thunder Rosa is one of my Favourite Womens Wrestlers to watch, and how this Match was booked didn't cater to her ring style. Thekla managed to get the win.

Tomasso Ciampa Segment.

Dax Harwood vs Tomasso Ciampa at a later date. Yes please AEW. Be still my 2017 NXT loving heart.

AEW Trios Championship Match Jetspeed And Hangman Adam Page vs Protokada And Mark Davis.

This was the Match of the night. It started with a lofi basis, and turned into a barn burner. I could sit here and talk about how Hangman gave Mark Davis a deadeye, or. Kyle Fletchers reverse hurricanrana to Speedball Mike Bailey, or Speedball taking a rainmaker for the finish. But in all honesty it was the chemistry between these teams that sold the Match. We have new Trios Tag Team Champions, and even though the. Trios Belts do need a fresh outlook, This Main Event was steller.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

AEW Continues it's good form of grace with fans, as it weekly TV remains at a high level, and this is important when heading all of the things that they've got planned in 2026.

This weeks AEW is a solid 8/10.

WWE Monday Night Raw Review. 26.5.26. Written By Patrick O'malley. Paul Heyman Segment. The show kicked off with Paul Heyman coming out...
